ASCA has changed the format for the Coach of the Year
Award. After much discussion and a large decrease in
applications over the last few years, we set up the award
similar to other state associations that require a
nomination process.
Please get the word out to your parents, cheerleaders and
administrators that this format has changed so they have an
opportunity to nominate someone. Once the nominations are
in, a separate panel of non-coaches will review the forms,
narrow the field and then choose the Coach of the Year, who
receives $1000 to attend a coaches conference in the year
they are chosen.
